太い幹を持つ植物がモチーフの銅版画作品です。

この作品は、アクアチントという技法で制作しています。
アクアチントとは、銅板に松ヤニの粉末を振り熱で銅板に定着させ、粉末の隙間を腐食させる技法です。
この作品は隙間がなくなるまで何度も腐食を繰り返しています。

作品には左下にエディションナンバー(版画のような複数枚同じ作品が存在する場合、刷りの限定部数を記載すること)、右下に作家のサインが入っています。

This is a copperplate art prints by Yoh.
This is an etching with a motif of a plant with a thick trunk.

This work is made using a technique called aquatint.
Aquatint is a technique in which pine resin powder is sprinkled on a copper plate and heat is used to settle the plate and corrode the gaps in the powder.
In this work, the process of corrosion is repeated many times until the gaps disappear.

An artwork has an edition number (if there are several copies of the same work, such as a print, the limited number of copies to be printed should be indicated) at the lower left and the artist's signature at the lower right.
