葉の版画作品です。
これは、コレットの『シェリ』という小説からイメージして制作した銅版画作品です。

この作品は、ドライポイントという技法で制作しています。
ドライポイントとは、銅板にニードルで直接描画し、その溝にインクを詰めてプレス機で刷る技法です。
インクが滲んだような独特な風合いがあります。
ドライポイントは版自体の耐久性が低いため、他の技法と比べて刷れる枚数が少ない作品です。

作品には左下にエディションナンバー(版画のような複数枚同じ作品が存在する場合、刷りの限定部数を記載すること)、右下に作家のサインが入っています。

This is a copperplate art prints by Yoh.
This is an etching work inspired by the novel "Cheri" by Colette.

I used a technique called Drypoint to create this work.
Drypoint is a technique of drawing directly on the copper plate with a needle, filling the grooves with ink, and then printing on a press.
It has a unique texture, as if the ink had bled.
Since the plate itself is not very durable, the number of sheets that can be printed by Drypoint is less than that of other techniques.

An artwork has an edition number (if there are several copies of the same work, such as a print, the limited number of copies to be printed should be indicated) at the lower left and the artist's signature at the lower right.
